Hello friends, family, and supporters! We continue to witness God’s amazing love on this journey.
Today started off like the other two days. Wake up, eat breakfast with the children, and send them off to school. But today we went to BanPangsa’s English Camp earlier than usual. We first arrived and met with Mr. Golf, the principal, to review the schedule for the English camp. We were given the schedule for the English camp a day prior, so we were able to plan accordingly. Once we were set, we gathered upstairs with the children and had greeting ceremony. We introduced ourselves to everyone and sang some English greeting songs. It surprised me how much English they knew and the enthusiasm they had.
As the camp went on we got a little off schedule. Things were a bit messy with time, but ‘it’s all good’. We continued to adapt to the messed up schedule and before you know it, it was already time for the closing ceremony; they showed much hospitality towards us giving us gift and diplomas for teaching. Also, Clifton performed the hippo and chicken dance for the whole camp. I’m sure there will be a video of it somewhere ;) If not, ask him to do it for you when we get back.
We went back to Khaodee and had our daily devotionals. After was dinner, worship, homework, and evening games with the children of Khaodee. To witness the children’s excitement and joy to worship is AMAZING!
Evening games were done, but not the day. Most of the boys and some of the girls stayed to watch soccer. When they had lost signal the children stared dead straight at the TV like it was the most intense moment in their lives. The signal finally came back. If you were to throw a paper ball and a child’s face, they probably would be unfazed.
Getting ready for sleep, I evaluated the day. I realized how much God has planned for us to witness. From adapting to new schedules, to watching children towards God. I’m looking forward to witnessing what God has in store for us next.
